Worked at the Downtown Art and Wine Festival for several hours yesterday evening. Looked like a good turned out. Estimated attendance roughly 1000 people through the gate over the course of the event. I missed the Giant City Slickers but the crowd for Big Larry and the Downhome Blues Band was pretty mellow, with only a couple of people up dancing. I guess having 40+ different wines to choose from will do that to people.
The few artists I spoke with said they were satisfied to happy with their sales and indirectly, I understand everyone was happy with either sales or response from attendees. Ditto for the wineries, and one brewery, in attendance.
