Halloween is long gone and will never return despite yearnings from some in the community. It tuned into a drunken riot with massive property damage. Even if Delyte Morris could rise from the grave to restore SIUC's fortunes he would find a very different economic climate today. Both Halloween and SIUC's time has passed.
