Wondering if the city has looked any further into either leasing or buying the parking space from Verizon that sits at the corner of University and Marion. It would add some much needed parking to downtown, especially with the loss of the spots south of PKs to the proposed Hyatt Suites project.
Additionally,as it is across the street from the civic center, acquiring the space would provide additional parking for civic center events. A shortage of parking at the civic center, especially for major events has been a problem for a number of years.
