In case you might be interested in running for city council, four seats come open next year. From an email sent out by the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce:

- Councilwoman Jane Adams
- Councilman Lance Jack
- Councilwoman Corene McDaniel
- Acting Mayor Don Monty
