  1. Keeping in mind that I know absolutely nothing about demolition, I do find it interesting that Maier's bid was so MUCH lower than the other ones. I don't raise this point to suggest that Maier would do poor work, but only out of my own amazement that 12 bids could be so remarkably varied!

    Does anyone know why this would be so?

  2. Not sure. Both he and Ellis come in about $20,000 lower than the next lowest bid.

  3. It's a college town-- I bet you could get these buildings knocked down in a few hours with the promise of free pizza and some beer.

    Cleanup would be tricky, though.
