Scooter's Coffee is now open on the west side of Carbondale, just before Main splits into Main and Walnut. They picked a good location as it catches people heading to work at SEMO in the morning when they want to pick up a coffee. Locating on the south side of Walnut means comparatively easy in and out for drivers as well. When you are heading to work, you do not want to make a left turn across 3 lanes of traffic, then have to cut back across those same three lanes to get back on the road to work.
Also an excellent location b/c all the people who live in the southwestern portions of the city (higher avg. income than the majority of the city) no longer have to go all the way across town to either Dunkin' or Starbucks for drive thru coffee.
