South Illinois

 Happened to drive up South Illinois this afternoon and was struck by the number of empty store fronts there. The retail space inside Evolve, aside from Insomnia Cookies, never has filled, Reema's old location, which looked as if it would house a fish restaurant but have not seen any movement on that end. Half the store fronts behind Trax are empty as is the strip housing Electric Larry's and Slabs. Both of those last two appear to be doing well but it is still a lot of empty space
