SIU will offer free tuition to new students from Illinois who come from families making $63,565 or less next fall. They are still responsible for room and board, books, etc. but the tuition waiver is certainly a nice incentive to offer.

ReplyDeleteDoubtful. I get far less attention that The Southern does. Free tuition is a model several other colleges have adopted to attract students.
