Looks as if the city will receive $1.2 million to upgrade infrastructure and make Evergreen Park more accessible. Not sure, given the financial status of the state, where the money will come from but I figure that is the state's problem, not the city's . of course, every resident of Illinois will have to foot the bill eventually. but meanwhile, we will get a nicer park.
