Cache River Symposium
In case you're free on Oct 12, and have an interest in such things, a group of SIUC doctoral students are presenting a symposium on the state of the Cache River watershed, its effect on the region and its future. Given that the area is home to over 100 threatened or endangered species and has been designated a Wetland of International Importance, the research presented could be pretty important to the region.
