Saw this group protesting women's health/abortion clinics outside City Hall about a quarter after 10 Tuesday morning. About two dozen of them there though the camera footage makes it look like more. you can read the lawsuit the Thomas More Society filed here. Certainly drawing national attention to the town, though probably not the type of attention city government would like.

 I see that Carbondale made the front page of Politco's website due to the Choices clinic opening here and the number of people coming here to make use of the clinic's services. 

On a related note, the clinic protestors appear very weather sensitive as inclinent weather tends to keep them away from the protests.

 Noted protestors in fron of Choices with a "Check in Here" sign, trying to get visitors to stop off before going to the clinic proper so they can have a chance to talk them out of getting an abortion. Someone should post a sign next to them reading "Not-affiliated with Choices Clinic".

 The Choices reproductive health care clinic on Giant City Road has errected a privacy fence around the parking lot, so passers by cannot see the lot from the road. Also blocks the view for the 2-4 protesters sitting out there most days.
