Glass Door has a list of the average salaries of faculty members at SIUC, based on anonymous information gathered from people claiming they are employed by the university. Salaries range from $11,600 for a graduate assistant to to $54,700 for an instructor to almost $79,000 for a new assistant professor.
There are non-anonymous sources from which this information can be found.
ReplyDeleteThe Chronicle of Higher Education has averages (http://chronicle.com/article/faculty-salaries-data-2012/131431#id=149222)that were gathered by the American Association of University Professors (http://www.aaup.org/AAUP/comm/rep/Z/ecstatereport11-12/default.htm).
The state board of higher education gives individual faculty salaries, but alas, they are a year out of date (http://www.ibhe.state.il.us/PA96266/Search.aspx).
Morris Library has the salary book for faculty and staff for 2011-2012, but alas, the older books have been locked away in a vault.
Pay for new faculty and administrators also shows up in the Board of Trustees minutes (e.g. http://bot.siu.edu/meetings/2012/0312minutes.pdf pp. 26-29).
These sources don't have current graduate assistant pay, but the university's Office of Sponsored Projects Administration has information about that (http://ospa.siu.edu/apply/budget-preparation/rates.html).
