Mr. Tuxedo has move from its Giant City Road location to a small strip mall in a cornfield outside of Carterville. Guess they feel the business is enough of a destination store that people will drive the extra distance to shop there.
The Carbondale Motel 6 is now America's Best Value Inn, advertising even lower prices, which I thought was the whole idea behind a Motel 6.
Looks like Magic Signs on West Walnut is closing or moving. They were cleaning out the space on Monday afternoon and there's a large "For Lease" sign hanging there.
There's a lot of IDOT activity around that cornfield, you know... maybe Mr. Tuxedo knows something.
