According to this article in the Southern, Unofficial Halloween came and went with no noticeable disruption to the city, expect in local business cash registers. I spoke to a couple of people I know who work at Memorial Hospital and they said no noticeable increase in patients beyond a normal weekend night, save for maybe a dozen DUI brought in. I saw quite a few people in costume walking in the Arbor District in costume on during that weekend but no notable crowds early in the evening, though the Daily Egyptian indicates downtown was quite crowded later in the evening.
