Sales Tax

Just a reminder that the C'dale sales tax increases by .5% today to 8.25%. The extra money will go to cover projected short falls in the city budget.

    Thanks for the reminder to start buying all my plastic junk at the Murphysboro Wal-Mart. The taxes are lower, and I can pick up beer while I'm there.

    Grrr... It's up to 8.25% in Murphysboro now too.
