Handsomefest

Apparently there's an upcoming weekend music festival in Carbondale called Handsomefest which will feature a large number of independent bands playing at venues through out the town. That's not why you need to find a copy of the program book though. You need to find a copy of the program book, available at a number of places in downtown, though not for much longer as they are being snapped up like loose dollar bills, because it has the markings of a piece of treasured Carbondale ephemera. Why, you ask? Because, says I, they feature a playing card bearing the faces of Strip notables Jason Tanner, Time Lloyd, and Vacation, coupled with the visage of Mayor Brad Cole. A collector's item, to be sure.
