The city starts accepting nomination petitions for the three open City Council seats on Oct 21. From what I understand, Councilman Doherty will not run again, leaving an open seat. Also, I have heard former mayoral candidate Nathan Colombo and the daughter of former councilwoman Jane Adams, Dawn, will both seek a council seat.

This election will be for the seats presently held by Councilmembers Jeff Doherty, LaCaje Hill, and Ginger Rye Sanders.
