A travel blogger wrote a pretty lengthy ( and complimentary) piece about the Shawnee Wine Trail. it does appear that Southernmost Illinois invited her to visit so that likely skewed her perceptions. Still, it is a pretty nice and detailed piece, with the focus on Murphysboro and the Shawnee region south of Carbondale.
