Jane Adams' campaign for mayor picked up steam as a slew of her campaign signs popped up in yards along this stretch of West Main, along with the side streets in the Walnut Street Historic District. These homes are all located in the Arbor District, so her long association with that organization certainly increased the willingness of residents of the area to host her signs.
Adams also has a pickup with an "Adams Carbondale" A-frame sign mounted in the bed that tooled around town Saturday afternoon. Not sure what parts of town she covered but she was hitting the square later in the afternon.
