Though I was sorry to see the old Dillinger Feed Store go, it has been replaced with some rather nice parking spaces. However, that is a problem in Carbondale, the tendency of landlords to let buildings run down rather than do basic maintenance on them. The Dillinger Feed Store, Stotlar House, Stage Company building, Tuscan Lodge, Merlin's, American Tap, all pulled down with only open grassy spots left in their place, well, except for the Dillinger Feed Store, where, as mentioned above, there is more parking.
