With the opening of Carbondale Martial Arts and Fitness yesterday, downtown C'dale now has a fitness cluster to rival its spa cluster. Crossfit, Carbonale Martial Arts and Fitness and Shotokan Karate are all located within half a block of each other., almost rivaling the 4 or so spas and stylists in the same area. I can understand the concentration of bars and restaurants in the downtown area, but find it bemusing that we have so many salons and fitness centers groups so closely to each other.
