Looks like SIUC is currently running about
$20 million short in paying its bills, at least, that's the figured projected by the end of this month if the state doesn't come up with the $115 million owed. Given this situation, it's certainly not a surprise the university wants no change in its arrangement with the city regarding Saluki Way funding.
