Interesting display of southern Illinois musical heritage in the
Carbondale Civic Center, with panels focusing on French music of the area during the 1700's, the "chitlin' circuit", and Benton native and
Grand Old Opry member Billy Grammer, among other topics. Not sure how long the display will remain or who's responsible for it, but taking a stroll through is certainly worth 10-15 minutes of your time.
